About Lady Bellaïs

Lady Bellaïs, a stunning Brazilian wooden schooner, embarked on a 21-day journey from Brazil to Bonaire. Our experienced captain and first mate, with a combined 40 years of expertise, ensured a safe and memorable voyage.

Our adventure began when the captain visited ‘Bonaire Cruisers,’ our company with over eight years of experience renting golf carts to tourists on Bonaire. During his visit, we discussed the idea of buying a boat.

Just two weeks later, we were on a plane to Brazil, searching the entire eastern coastline for the perfect vessel. The moment we saw this newly-built wooden schooner, we knew it was the one. We made some upgrades, adding two restrooms, a bar, and improved accessibility.

Once in Bonaire, we took Lady Bellaïs out of the water and installed a bow thruster for better control. We also gave her a fresh coat of paint to ensure she looked her best. Today, she stands ready to provide our guests with exceptional experiences.
